The Princeton Center for Theoretical Science is seeking nominations from faculty and permanent research staff across the theoretical sciences for its prestigious Center Postdoctoral Fellowships. These Fellowships carry the rank of Associate Research Scholar and are among the most prestigious postdoctoral positions offered in the theoretical sciences at Princeton University. We particularly encourage nominations of qualified candidates who are women and/or members of other groups that are underrepresented in the theoretical sciences, especially people of color.
The deadline for receipt of the nomination, reference letters, as well as all materials from the candidate is October 15, 2024.
Please submit your nomination as soon as possible in order to give your candidate sufficient time to complete their dossier. To submit a nomination, enter the candidate’s name and email address along with your nomination letter in PDF format, by clicking on this link:
Candidates are then invited to submit additional materials and names of other references should they accept the nomination.
Candidates should be of the highest talent and promise, eager to expand their horizons, and trained in theoretical science, broadly construed, including astrophysics, biology, chemistry, geosciences, physics, and engineering.
Center Postdoctoral Fellows receive a three-year appointment entirely supported by the Center, along with research/travel funds, and have full freedom to develop their scientific interests with the support and mentoring of the resident Faculty Fellows. A doctoral degree in a related field is required for employment.
Princeton University is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. These positions are subject to the University’s background check policy.
