We are seeking an Advanced Engineering Support Specialist in our Broomfield, CO Location. We are looking for an Engineering Support Specialist to support all the engineering disciplines (electrical, mechanical, systems, SW, Lasers, Optics etc.) and work closely with engineers and physicists on a daily basis. Due to the variety of the work projects and tasks, the successful candidate will need a flexible and adaptable skill set, with a strong learning orientation. The candidate must possess strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and collaborate with the engineering and physics teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage engineering & other technical staff to support research, engineering, and operational activities Interface with machine shop to plan, coordinate, & track jobs Order parts and equipment for engineering development and testing. Track and manage budgets for small engineering purchases. Produce engineering documentation, reports, and drawings (flow charts, schematics, etc.)
You must have:
- High School Diploma/GED Minimum Minimum 4+ years of experience with electrical & mechanical design engineering Applicants for employment for this position must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Quantinuum. (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status)

- Experience with electrical & mechanical design engineering concepts & tools Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis techniques Experience with MATLAB, C++ or related languages Financial management of engineering overhead budgets and purchase card (P-Card) Proficiency with Microsoft Office toolset, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio Experience with Atlassian JIRA (or similar) issue tracking databases Ability to build strong relationships and effectively partner with others Strong organization, communication, and documentation skills Self-motivated in performance of duties with limited supervision
