We are seeking a DevOps Support Engineer in our Broomfield, CO or Brooklyn Park, MN Locations. Quantinuum believes that employees work better, more efficiently and more collaboratively in close proximity to other employees, where ideas can be exchanged readily, and decisions can be made more quickly for the benefit of the Company and our customers. All employees should work at their assigned location; however, this role may offer the opportunity to work remotely 2 days per week, with approvals.
About the Role:
As DevOps Engineer, you will be part of the Enterprise Apps team and will play a crucial and hands-on role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our DevOps related platforms, solutions, and tools. You will engage with business teams and partners across the globe, as well as external vendors, to gather requirements and propose business-aligned solutions. This role will report to our Enterprise Apps Manager and will work in partnership with our IT engineering and support teams to ensure integration and alignment with our critical infrastructure.
As a DevOps Engineer, you will help shape and execute the Enterprise Apps strategy and roadmap that is aligned and positioned to innovate and deliver compelling business value on a global scale. You will work to ensure stakeholders have access to our systems and services whenever and wherever they need them.
You will be supported by Sr. leadership and a global IT organization providing cutting-edge solutions and services to our scientific teams. Your work will increase collaboration and productivity, and will support the development of quantum software, applications, and hardware which will have a future impact on our everyday lives. Previous experience in a similar role as part of a high-performing team is preferred. A natural desire to collaborate and exceed stakeholder expectations is ideal for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software developers, system operators, and other IT staff to manage code releases, deployments, system updates, and troubleshoot issues within a global enterprise. Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline software delivery. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure consistent operations. Maintain appropriate documentation, including drawings, configurations, and recovery plans. Ensure IT and security controls are consistently implemented and aligned with policies, standards, and best practices. Build, deploy, and automate deployments of Linux and Windows desktop and server environments. Automate manual processes and tasks to improve operational efficiency and reduce human error. Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, to automate provisioning and configuration of infrastructure components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and implement new technologies and tools. Work directly with the team and Manager to develop cost optimization and resource rationalization strategies.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor's degree Minimum 3 years’ Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines, processes, and management tools (Jenkins, Jfrog Artifactory, GitHub, Ansible). Minimum 3 years’ Experience in Windows and Linux systems administration, deployments, and system and application monitoring. (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status)
WE VALUE:
- Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems Recent experience as a DevOps Support Engineer, or similar role, in an enterprise environment. Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell). Documented experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), orchestration (e.g., Rancher) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience working with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform). API configuration and deployment experience including the use of automation tools such as MuleSoft, Zapier, or others. SaaS application management and configuration experience including integrating disparate or 3rd-party solutions. Knowledge of various database technologies; MySQL, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and non-SQL. Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V. Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog). Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and best practices. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. A desire to work side-by-side and engage with partners on challenging problems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Willingness to be flexible in meeting the demands of a fast-moving business.
