These are the specific responsibilities included in the role:

  • Technical leadership in the development of flux-qubit based Analog Quantum Processors. This task will involve overseeing and taking an active role with the respective teams working on the device design, its fabrication and its characterization processes.
  • Supervision and development of a team of junior researchers, including industrial PhD students, to grow in independence and in their career path within the company..
  • Contribute in the definition of the internal technology roadmap and take part in the strategy and decision- making process of the company as part of its senior team. 

Requirements: ✔️

  • PhD, or an equivalent number of years of experience, in quantum computing or related subject.
  • Good command of English language (oral and written).
  • Experience with superconducting quantum device device characterization and measurement
  • Programming in Python
  • Experience in electronics (GHz and radio-frequency domains preferrable)
  • Former experience in superconducting quantum technology laboratories.

Any of the following skills will be highly valued:

  • Multi-qubit device characterization
  • Flux-like qubit device experience 
  • Experience in cryogenics
  • Previous leadership role/experience
  • Electromagnetic simulation software (e.g., HFSS, CST, Maxwell, Sonnet)
  • Nanofabrication (e.g. Lithography, evaporation, sputtering)
