The Physics Department at Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut, invites applications for a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor beginning in September, 2024. We seek candidates who are enthusiastic about teaching all facets of undergraduate physics to a diverse student body and who are committed to initiating and pursuing an active on-campus research program in experimental or computational physics in which undergraduates can meaningfully participate. The position offers competitive salary and benefits, and funds for laboratory start-up expenses. The teaching load is four courses per year for the first two years and five courses per year thereafter, with a one-semester leave every four years. A doctorate in physics is required, with Ph.D. completed by August 2024; some teaching experience is highly desired.
